Here's just a bit more about us that you might like to know. We're happy to answer any questions you have. Just drop us an email or give us a bell and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Q. Why is the gym women only?
A. Many people find it hard to summon up the confidence to go to a gym. You have to pop on the gear and show a little of your body perhaps. You can feel a little vulnerable. Some gyms can feel a bit intimidating, and some can feel male orientated. So we want to provide a space where ladies (sorry guys) can come and feel comfortable and relaxed while working out. No pressure. No judgement. No men. No mirrors.
Q. Do I get extra support if I need it?
A. Yes! Chat to us about what you need and we'll do our best to help. We give you a full induction when you join. But we're also there to help you get the best out of the equipment. So we can advise you on the right way to use them, anytime. We can support if you have any mobility or disability issues (see below), or have a weakness in a certain are of the body that you have to look out for. Don't be afraid to chat to us and tell us what YOU need to make your experience the best it can be.
Q. Is the gym wheelchair accessible?
A. The gym is accessible to standard wheelchairs. The entrance is a little bit of a squeeze, but it's all on the flat, and once you're in there's room to move around. You can get the chair pretty close to the pieces of equipment so you can move from one to the other. If you do use a wheelchair we are more than happy to chat and welcome you to the gym to try it out, and see if it works for you.
Q. Are there changing facilities?
A. Sadly not. There is a toilet on site that can be used if you do need to change. But our ladies usually come dressed for their work out.
Q. How do I make a complaint?
A. We always want our members to feel like they've had a great experience at the gym or at one of our classes. So if you do have a worry, complaint or suggestion... tell us! Then hopefully we can chat through it with you, resolve it and put your mind at ease.
